One evening, I went to the beach to stare aimlessly at the clouds for some peace of mind after a troublesome day. I got lost in my cloud of thoughts and, before I could say goodbye, the moment the day bleeds into nightfall was gone. The cerulean skies transitioned to saffron hues which made me regret the unsaid goodbye.
Goodbyes are never easy and heartbreaking. Despite this fact, sunset is my favourite goodbye and the most beautiful one. I’ve never seen anyone exuberate so much radiance before leaving along with some ray of hope. We never know if the problem is the end for us or another beginning in our life. The sunset shows that some endings lead us to beautiful beginnings, like watching the moon come out every night.
As we’re coming to the end of 2020, let us hope 2021 comes out to be a bright and beautiful full moon. Even the waxing crescent is alright but hopefully not the new moon like the year 2020.
On this note, let me say my goodbye to this year so, I do not regret it later. Screw you, 2020!
